Australian opals are glorious and flash their colours boldly. Opals are formed when silica-rich water and sediment seeps into deep cracks and voids in rocks becoming opalised. The tiny silica spheres work like ‘prisms’ and flash colours.  We crush and meticulously inlay the opals grind into shape on a lapidary wheel, coat and polish to a crystal clear shine. The pen pictured is not the pen you will receive but it will be just as stunning and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the makers.
