Story Wood - Recycled Australian Red Cedar Dressing Table

This timber has a story. This red cedar timber used to be a dressing table. It was made in the 1940’s for Iris by her carpenter brother and spent many decades holding hairbrushes, mirrors and embroidered handkerchiefs. When Iris passed away, the dresser was inherited by her daughter, Gail. Gail didn't have room in her home for the old but still lovely dressing table, but wanted to preserve her family heritage so she had pens made from the vintage red cedar timber for herself and her three children (Iris’s grandchildren).

Personalisation makes the gift extra special. We can laser engrave the wooden pen and the letter opener. Engraving is done on the timber underneath the lacquer. In the text box please provide:
