This phoenix pen features silky oak timber. Silky oak is one of the most popular ornamental native trees in Australia with it’s stunning vibrant orange, toothbrush like flowers. Silky oak is a light to medium reddish brown timber, it is highly figured, with distinctive grain and large medullary rays.
