Purpleheart Timber

Purpleheart is an exotic timber from Central and South America. Purpleheart is highly prized timber due it is incredible natural purple colouring. When cut, the timber turns from a light brown to a rich aubergine purple colour. Exposure to ultraviolet light darkens the wood to a brown-purple colour. Purpleheart timber is extremely durable with a grain that is usually straight, but can occasionally be wavy or irregular.

Personalisation: Due to the dark colour of the timber, this pen cannot be laser engraved but we can personalise wooden pen boxes. In the text box provided:

• Timber box engraving: Approx. 50 letters and spaces (logo, symbols or line drawings are OK).
• We will contact you to confirm your personalisation prior to it being complete.
