Gidgee Timber

Australian gidgee wood is an acacia timber prized for its strength and durability. Gidgee is one of Australia's hardest timbers. The heartwood is a deep, rich brown colour and the outer sapwood is very pale. Gidgee timber has a very fine grain and can be highly figured. The indigenous Kalkadoon people made nulla nulla's, shields, boomerangs, swords and clapsticks from gidgee’s rich, brown wood.

Yes we can personalise your pen.  We laser engrave the timber part of this pen or a wooden pen box. In the text box please provide:

• Pen engraving: 20 letters and spaces max. Laser engraving is done on the timber underneath the lacquer.
